In the Sands of Time

In my professional line of work, I've come across several sites that have been in Google's sandbox as a result of being a new site or updated contents with new URL naming conventions. As much as I would like to think that I know the absolute solutions to this issue, (and if you Google employees would like to share it with the world, please do so!), it's basically going back to the basics of SEO work but with a little twist. Here's how I helped get the site back into track from out of Google's sandbox.

1) Content. Revisit your content and see if your content matches well or worse than others. Internet Business Promoter and ClickTracks are good softwares to help you analyze whether or not you're using too much or too little of a certain phrase, word, or sentence. Make sure that you don't overdo creating text links with your keywords.
2) Linkings. If you don't have any one-way or reciprocal linkings to your site, start creating these links as a practice. Having substantial and quality links to your site will help generate weight to your site and keyword search.
3) Patience. You know the saying, "Patience is a virtue?" Well, in this situation, patience is everything. In the search enginge marketing business, patience is an essential and integral component that, coupled with the right marketing techniques, decision-making, and business acumen, will help generate results for your marketing initiatives.

Last, but not least, is the one thing that I could not control myself, and that is Time. Depending on the nature of your issue, it can take between one month to three months (and possibly longer, which I hope not) for your site to be out of the sandbox and to start being ranked by the search engines. Time is our worst friend and our best enemy... or is it our best friend and our worst enemy?...
